    – records the history of jazz in SA and beyond;
    – celebrates local jazz musicians in concert and produces CDs, DVDs, and film clips;
    – has a comprehensive library of magazines and books available for research and borrowing;
    – publishes a quarterly magazine; and
    – holds special exhibitions with live jazz performance.
